Our experience has led us to create very unique processes within the Design/Build philosophy that better guarantees complete satisfaction to our clients. At Scapes we believe that the Design/Build process will save you time, money and aggravation and will ensure that your project comes in on time and on budget.

THE SCAPES DESIGN BUILD ADVANTAGE – YOUR PERSONAL DESIGN TEAM
The true Value of our Design Build process is enhanced by your relationship with your Landscape Architect/Designer. From your first call, through the completion of your installation, you will work hand-in-hand with the same person to create a synergy between the architecture of your estate and its surroundings. In simple terms, one point of communication!

This first process we call Smart Design. Smart Design describes the design process that limits the risk to the client of unexpected costs, function or flow problems, drainage problems, and future expansion costs. This process also creates the tool needed for a very convenient, no hassle construction implementation phase, the design.

Smart Design – Planning, Capturing Your Vision
Our initial consultations are done on-site so you can show us your property and tell us your goals. During these meetings we, we ask questions, listen to your answers and take time to get to know what you and your family hope to accomplish. If you don’t have a clear vision for what you want to do, we will tap into our design team’s years of creative expertise.

Once we understand your needs and objectives, your Landscape Architect/Designer can be hired to do a Conceptual Master Plan. The Conceptual Master Plan is a layout of the landscape and circulation of the hardscapes of your property, based on your feedback and our suggestions. From this document, we’ll be able to accurately budget what it will cost to realize the vision. During this phase, we’ll address issues unique to your property such as irrigation, privacy and screening. We’ll take into account any future plans you may have and we’ll work to efficiently manage the distraction of nearby buildings, roads and neighbors. When the design is complete, you’ll have the opportunity to sign off on all or part of the project. We’ll consult with you so that you understand all of your options, offer advice for the most efficient and economic ways to realize your vision.

Production - Digging In
The second process is the Pro-Build process. The Pro-Build process combines strong communication; complete information flow, solid day-to-day management and a client care focus to keep all members of the team working off the same point of reference. The benefit to the client is a really smooth and painless installation process that takes the worry and hassle away from you.

In this part of the process, once you have approved your design we go into production mode. This is where the fun begins. We’ve turned yards of red clay into placid mountain retreats. Overgrown backyards have become idyllic French villas with special attention placed on security, serenity and seclusion. We build patios and plant trees. We create streams and waterfalls. The process can be dirty, but our crews take special care to ensure that the impact of our machinery, trucks and shovels is minimized. If we make a mess, we clean it up. That way, you can go about your daily routine with minimal interruption.
